City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties

I recently adopted a kitten, and I love him so much he's the sweetest little guy! I found city kitties online and I was so desperate to fill out an application, I had been on so many different websites and I was ready to get a kitten! I filled out my application and just a few days later they got back to me (At least that is how I remember it), and it was great. The process took a little less than a month (Again, that is how I remember it). During the process everyone was SO nice, they never really gave you a hard time about anything. When I got there to adopt my kitten there was a mixup, and no one knew who I really filled the application for because he looked so similar to his siblings. I picked him, and I am so happy that I did! It turns out that he actually wasn't the one I filled the application for, but I was totally fine with that, it really didn't bother me. I also noticed when I was adopting how the people volunteering really loved and cared for the animals, and made sure that they would get the care they needed. Since there was only one slight problem and the rest of the experience was amazing I highly suggest getting your new furry friend from City dogs/kitties!

I foster cats, which is great since I can choose when I have a cat and not. I'm fostering my second cat and it's a great process to see them get comfortable and trusting (and snuggly!). They're super thorough in screening applicants, which I'm sure the cats and dogs appreciate.

Super helpful adoption staff. My best spent money was adopting two kittens and it's great that they take these animals from high kill shelters. I picked up one of my kittens right off of transport, so I will say that process was a bit disorganized, but it all worked out, and I'd definitely recommend them.

First time fostering, everybody involved is very genuine in their care for the animals. Wish the process was a little more streamlined though.

Pets are a big responsibility and investment. City Dogs Rescue ensures that their application process is comprehensive and that those wishing to adopt a pet will be able to provide for it and give the animal a happy life. That's not too much to ask for. In fact, it's comforting to know that they care so much so that the animals don't end up in a bad home, or have them returned or given away. When we adopted our dog, we had the best experience and we have had nothing but joy brought to our lives because of it. I have, and will continue to recommend this organization to anyone.
