Clayton's Beach Bar & Event Venue

Just wanted to say it sucks as we tried to enter that place 4 different times and were told by the gate police that we could not come in. They have bands but I must say as an older couple we were not welcome. We went next door to Hilton and were received with open arms. To bad for Clayton’s we spent our money next door. Your door guards need some serious training on hospitality. Very rude they show no respect for elders. Sorry for you lose but we had a great time next door. We were there for a week. Lewis

Great venue, great ocean view, nice beverage selection and the food is good. Great place to have fun with friends. I asked about the hours of operation. The response was that because of the Spring Break season the hours are generally what are posted on this website. However, because business picks up and slows down, there are times where they won't close at 2 they may close earlier. They have many small posters up that highlights live acts that are hosted by Clayton's. Some of the acts require a ticket to be purchased, and some acts do not. The website has most of the postings up-to-date. But, it would be better if you call just to be sure. The parking lot in front of Clayton's is unpaved, so give yourself plenty of time getting there for a place to park. It is safe and usually kept level. I'm actually excited about the pier that they are planning to build that extends into the water from Clayton's. At the end of it is going to be a full size Bar and Restaurant just like on shore. It would be nice if they had it ready before spring break next year.

It has a great view of the beach shoreline. The staff was very friendly and the food is really good. The drinks can be a bit pricey ($10-$14) mainly because they're giving you the plastic cups with it, even the long glasses when you order margaritas. The venue I was attending had a relaxing vibe. Other venues hosted there are worth checking out. They also have firework shows by 8pm.

Came here for spring break and it was beyond phenomenal. Not only was the staff great but the service and the surrounding atmosphere was just perfect. Me and my friends definitely plan on going here again. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to enjoy a break and relax

We ate at Clayton’s for lunch in the middle of the week. The food was good and prices were fair but the best thing about Clayton’s is the location and atmosphere. No shirt, no shoes, no problem! Walk right off the beach and enjoy your food on their comfortable deck while enjoying the beautiful view of the water. Staff was friendly and helpful and the place was clean (which can’t be easy considering the location). Guessing it is a different scene at night with the bands and bar in full swing, but lunch on a Wednesday was a easygoing happy affair.
