Really enjoyed the experience there. Atmosphere was great, staff was very friendly and service was good. Cocktail selection was vast and interesting. I tried a "coffee and cigarettes" cocktail that was quite tasty. Food was good but a little pricey. Overall a good place, we will return soon.

Apparently this place is under new management / owners because it certainly has gone down hill. We recently went with some friends and the four of us were all extremely disappointed. My Martini was so bad I could not even drink it. I asked for a sample of one of their beers and was told that they don't give out samples. The food was fair at best and the service was terrible. When we brought our whole experience to the manager she seemed like she could care less. Never offered an apology or anything at all. We spent several hundred dollars that night, had poor food, drinks and were treated poorly. It was like we were an interruption being there.

Love CodeX! Great, cozy and hip vibe- awesome Prohibition themed bar. Drinks are fantastic, food is good, staff is friendly, and piano player compliments the ambience. Awesome for drinks with friends or a date. Highly recommend!

Nice bar. My brother didn't know the speak easy thing, was so confused in the lobby. Good selection of whiskey. Bartenders were really squared away, did a great job.

Terrible Experience!! We were a party of 6 to celebrate my sons 32nd birthday.We ordered drinks and appetizers and more drinks and then dinners and then after dinner drinks. Our tab was close to $500.00. After we paid the bill we sat around for another 20 minutes just drinking water and talking. We were just about ready to go when the waitress came over and said that if we were not going to order anything else then we should go because other people were waiting. Very rude...I have never been asked to leave a restaurant in my life. We are business people and are good customers. We left and went out and there was no one waiting. I decided to go in and speak with the manager to tell her what happened. She said that that was their policy and she did have people she was going to call to come in. I just can’t believe that they would conduct business this way. To upset 6 good customers in such a disgraceful way....needless to say my sons birthday night was ruined. Food is mediocre at best. Would not recommend... go somewhere where they appreciate your business.
