Nice venue, but we attended a concert with amplification that was poorly mixed. The vocalist was not properly balanced with the band.
Great venue with incredibly imaginative programming. The Composer Portrait series is a must-see.
Columbia University is so beautiful.
For some unknown reason still checking vac cards and forcing masks with no warning. Seats are made for quadriplegics and toddlers.
Great programming, but poor sound, especially amplified. I was there for a mixed modern chamber/jazz concert; the sound was so unnatural, I could hardly believe I was hearing a grand piano, drums or an upright bass.
Nice theater affiliated to Columbia University. The acoustic is great and the space not too big.. I only wish they made more concerts because the season could be better
Nice small theater on the Columbia campus. Just off the 116th 1 line. Has a range of experimental and traditional offerings. Evening and afternoon shows.
Nice comfortable venue at Columbia U to hear accomplished American and international musicians play original music from jazz to classical and everything in between and beyond
Mostly Columbia-affiliated concerts. Ushers are nice. Balcony has pretty good views, and the theater isn't huge.
Poor acoustics for any kind of classical or modern music. Might be better for musical/voice-driven productions. Great student prices though.
