Bow Tie Cinemas Ziegfeld Theater

The Ziegfeld is a classic theatre in every sense of the word. It conjures images of luxurious premieres and glamorous stars gracing its halls. The lobby area is ornately decorated, with royal reds and gold fixtures. The theatre itself is monstrous, with rows and rows of seating. The screen is huge and immersive, and the sound quality is excellent. Do yourself a favor and see as many films here as possible. It's magical.

The best movie theater in town! This one is fit to show musicals! It has it's original charm and was renovated to keep it that way. It's got plush velvet everywhere, great sound, and super comfy seats. The interior is gorgeous. Might I add this is a full on theater with a balcony too? Going to the Ziegfeld is a classy way to watch a movie. It makes me want to go in my opera clothes. It is no wonder why the Ziegfeld plays host to many movie premiers and red carpet walks. It's fit for celebrities.

Probably my favorite movie theater in Manhattan. Big theater with nice people working there. It only shows one movie at a time. Perfect for Real-3D movies (the picture does not become darker like in some cheaper theater)

Here from uk and visited bow tie to watch star wars. Great venue nice staff comfy seats. Not a fan of 3D so a 2D screening would have been nice but didn't spoil the fun +++

I can't believe I have never gone to this cinema before. Absolutely gorgeous! What a theater should be like. The architecture is stunning what you imagine a classic theater to look like. Saw Interstellar here 70mm film! Couldn't have been a better viewing. The theater was very clean as well as the bathrooms and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
