I go in bi-yearly here to get iron infusions done and have been going to this location for a few years now. My experience at this Compass location has always been a good one. Front staff is always pleasant. I go to the chemo ward for my long infusions, and the nurses there are always answering inquiries, treating patients with respect, and seeing to the comfort of everyone in the treatment room. I see Dr. Gruenburg here, and he was willing to work with me to tailor a treatment plan to treat my chronic anemia that has arisen from illness complications. He listened to me and looked at the data, where as other doctors initially dismissed my issues that could have caused my body a great deal of harm. I would recommend this treatment center to others.

I don't even know where to begin. I guess a good place is the end. My mother-in-law passed away from complications of cancer after being treated by Dr. Goswehr for over a year and a half. At the very least, I would have expected him to call and give his condolences to our family. But no, there has been no call. He saw her in his office 6 days before she died and gave ABSOLUTELY NO indication that her then, very sick and feeble condition was related to the progression of her cancer and complications. Any other, more compassionate and communicative doctor would have let the family know to begin preparing for EOL decisions. But no, that didn't happen. Add to that the seeming lack of communication between the Gosewher and the surgeon he lined up for her last surgery which resulted in mixed messages about her diagnosis and prognosis which left us trying to piece together what the hell was going on. To top that, his nurse was always rude and harsh - surely, he is in the wrong profession. I know that when you work in the medical field you see and deal with cancer every day. But for most families - it is a once in a lifetime thing and often the first time they are dealing with it. Be compassionate. Be communicative. Be caring. I would NEVER recommend this facility or this doctor.
