I’ve dropped by the Wilson Boulevard Conte’s Bike Shop three times this week, and all the staff I interacted with — Ryan, Oscar, and T. — were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They seem to have a genuine rapport with every customer who walks in, from serious cyclists to young commuters to parents with kids in tow. With so many bike-friendly trails and day trip options in the DMV area, the pull of cycling has been hard to resist, and I feel fortunate to have found such a helpful and reliable neighborhood bike shop. Once I’ve got some miles on my new bike, I look forward to joining one of the regular cycling trips organized by Conte’s staff through their mobile app — another example of how they view us as a community instead of just customers. Cheers, guys.
Shout out to Renee!!! As a beginner cyclist, me and my husband was so lost. We went to 5 different bike shops, and We finally ended up buying both of our bikes here. Renee is so knowledgeable and very professional. She knew exactly what we needed. She gave us good advice on how to pick a bike to how to take care of it. She’s like a mom. She knows what’s the best for you!
Shoutout to Jordan for my first professional bike fitting!! As a beginner road cyclist- he answered any & all questions I had throughout our session. He listened to all my concerns and made the adjustments accordingly to perfectly fit my needs. He took his time carefully explaining each segment of the fitting and made the necessary recommendations. I look forward to returning for any future purchases. Thank you so much!
Mathew T store manager was super knowledgeable, super helpful and resolved a mistake on my bike's set-up and even lent me a part so I could continue to ride it on Sunday despite having purchased it at another shop. T is clearly very knowledgeable about racing bikes, is passionate about them and a pleasure to deal with. I am very grateful for all the help and will go back!
Gotta love Conte's. A friend of mind recommended them a few years ago, and absolutely no regrets since. I feel like they always go above and beyond to give good customer service, and T especially has helped me out numerous times. I don't write reviews often, but always happy to make an exception when you find a shop that you can trust.
The staff at Conte’s Arlington were super great! “T” and Russell, really took their time and helped me pick out a great bike. They tuned the bike up and added some accessories I bought as well. All of the staff were really knowledgeable, patient and a joy to be around!
The fit pro in Arlington, Jordan, was excellent! He really listened to my needs and my goals for my cycling and didn't push me to buy anything that I didn't need. His careful attention to the fit of my bike has already made a difference, and I learned a lot about both my bike and my body. It is 100% worth it!
Oscar helped me twice this year with my e-bike a Rad purchased elsewhere. He was welcoming, knowledgeable and responsive. I hesitated going to a bike shop as a regular person because of my daily commuting experiences with "enthusiastic" spandex-clad racers on the trail, but Conte's is definitely a place that welcomes everyone. I'll be back!
Conte’s Bike Shop is the only place you should buy a bike in the DC. All of the employees go above and beyond to make sure you’re good to go with whatever you need. The store manager, ‘T’, will make sure you’re good to go and comfortable with you’re new bike. As someone who is new to the cycling community, Contes Bike Shop ensured that I not only had the equipment I needed but also the knowledge for getting started. If you need a new bike or just any sort of cycling equipment make sure you go to Contes!
T and his staff at Conte's in Arlington provides quality and friendly services. They help find this beautiful frameset the BMC SLR01in silver prisma. T even went beyond and took care of cutting the steerer for me, and his mech tech made sure that the handlebar, headset is in good working condition before they handed out to me. I highly recommend them to others that looking to get a new bike, a frameset, parts or just anything you need.
