I have been frequenting this place for years. The owner is very helpful. They have a new manager who is extremely arrogant. I walked into the shop yesterday. She was talking to a vendor and made me stand there without any acknowledgment for five minutes. When I asked her about special ordering something (I was there in person) she refused to write down my name instead throwing her business card at me and telling me that I needed to email her so that she "wouldn't lose the paper". The ridiculousness that I would need to do something extra because of her incompetence in holding onto a piece of paper for orders from customers is insane!!! When I raised the issue to her, she decided to continue with her rude arrogant. She told me she was "sorry you are having a bad experience". Of course none of it was her responsibility since she's not at work or at all involved, right? I will be taking my business elsewhere until this arrogant person decides she can be professional.

Great selection of items for such a small space. Really like that they have most of the DC brewery's and distillery's items for sale. Prices could be a bit better but it is DC and in Union Market so what are you going to do.
