Core Helicopters

If I could score them a zero, I would! They were eager to make the sale and were easy to contact during the transaction. After I paid for private lessons, they completely disappeared. I tried to schedule an appointment and have called, and sent emails to no avail. No one answers the phone, returns messages of any kind, and when I physically go to the Linden, NJ location, they're always closed. This is a scam! Avoid this company at all cost.

I have 24 hrs in an R22 and found the staff extremely good and helpful.

I bought a voucher for 2 helicopter lessons from them. I filled-out the forms and my reservation date requests passed without any confirmation. I then sent an email and left a voicemail. After 26 days, I left a total of 6 voice-mails and 6 e-mails. After weeks of frustration, I contacted Groupon. They got a hold of them and said I would be contacted within 4 days. Of course, nobody from Core Helicopters contacted me. I wonder if they had any intention of honoring the purchases I made. I am also annoyed that if you call them, their voice mail states, "We are really bad at getting back to people on voice-mail, but we're really good at getting back via email". I think they are just really bad at all types of communication. What sort of business are they running. I understand a late reply, but it's been about a month of continued messaging on my part and I have not received a single email or voice message. This is not how you run a business.

This place is awesome! Not just because it was my first flight, (flight schools are not all created equal, believe it or not) but because they went beyond that, and offered great customer service, friendly instructors, fun things to do while you wait, and most important of all, safety! For plane pilots: Helicopters were a lot more fun than I expected. Wow! The experience was totally smooth flight and just pure joy.
