Heard great things about this place but 100% dissatisfying with being told that my two babies could not attend because of how they look. ( they never even looked at them they refused over the phone) your policies do not match your actions. I was told they have a policy against pit bulls but my dogs are not pit bulls. They are pocket bullies and I have documentation to prove it. My dogs are mixed with American bulldogs. They have been to groomer since they were 12 weeks old and trained. So if you have policies against pit bulls and I owned pit bulls I would understand but you can not put any dog you choose in a pit bull category because one may think they look similar. I noticed in your reviews you proved services to rotties and German Shepherd it my personal option that those dogs are extremely aggressive and know to turn even on their owners. I would have to call this horrible beliefs on y’alls part especially to be an animal place you should know dogs act in the manner they were raised and if I don’t own a pit pull I shouldn’t be penalized for it and if your policy stated you do not except dogs that resemble pit bulls as well, wouldn’t at least be more professional to at least look at the dog before assuming what they look like??? My dog is a pocket bully meaning he is no taller than 14 inches. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I’ll keep my business to the establishment that truly care for ANIMALS!!

I think it speaks volumes when a business gives back to its community! Country acres does that in an enormous way! It's a business about pets and they put their care, their time and their hearts into it! Their help has been vital to many hundreds of people if not thousands over the years, not to mention their pets. With FREE dog training classes, dog parks and personnel who generously give their knowledge to anyone who will just ask. Matthew is my go to person for all my questions with my service dog. His patience and respect and genuine enthusiasm for dogs of all kinds is an inspiration. His years of training military dogs gives him knowledge and experience that few people could afford. Yet he gives that away every Saturday. I cannot imagine ever letting my dog stay anywhere else if the need arises. Meanwhile, I know I can turn to them if I need anything else concerning my dog. I cannot give any higher praise! In my book, they get 10 stars! Thank you Country Acre Kennels for being the gem that you are in our community!!

I've been taking my German Shepard puppy to Country Acres Kennels for short time boarding and dog training. Matt who is the lead trainer there is my instructor for obedience training. After only a few weeks, I've seen amazing results. Matt is very knowledgeable and easy to work with during our training sessions. I highly recommend taking your puppy dog here for training. They also provide day care for dogs if you just need them to watch your dog during working hours, your dog will enjoy this service. When I pick her up from day care, she goes straight to her bed and sleeps all night. You will LOVE LOVE LOVE Country Acres Kennels and their staff!

My corgi and I flew into Dallas recently to visit come family in Arlington and unfortunately she did not get along with the new pit puppy they recently adopted so I HAD to find a place to keep her safe happy while I'm in town. I called around and this was the only place that gave me a real tour of the facility to make me feel welcome and at ease for my puppy's stay. I was a little abrasive at first when they started taking all my information down on a little paper card rather than a computer system but their confidence was reassuring enough to look over that and MAN I'm glad I decided to board here, they let me come visit my baby and even offered to take us back to the Air Port when I left last week. I'm so impressed and happy I found you guys I wish there was a place like this in my home town. I can't WAIT to try the dog limo when I come back this Christmas!! I'll share this review on your other platforms as well. Thanks!!

LOUSY. We boarded our 2 Rotties here several times without incident until our last stay. Always paid for 2 runs & told them to never put another male dog adjacent to my male. I told them to put both of my dogs into the same run if needed to create a buffer. I explicitly agreed to pay for the unused run. That always worked until they ignored my wishes and put a large male in the adjoining run. Predictably, problems ensued. My male was put outside for 3 days in AUGUST (my dogs live indoors) and was suffering severe dehydration when we returned. The staff were very indignant and threatened to make me pay for damage to the kennel - in spite of admitting that they ignored my request to not put another male dog next to mine (which is common sense in the world of dog boarding). I was astounded by the mix of arrogance & stupidity they displayed. I've used a number of kennels over the years. Some were better than others - but this is the only one I will never go back to.
