Cox Communications

There was a long line of people with problems and I thought my wait would be forever just to pick up my starter pack. But they heard me talking on my phone and handed me the equipment so I could be on my way. What made that special was that I was being a jerk describing the situation to my friend on the phone. Yet they still treated me with kindness and expedited the order for me and I know they weren't required to do that. I feel foolish but I learned and really respect the folks in that store.

I literally today April 9, 2017 arrived at the store located at 5571 NW Expressway in Oklahoma City in order to turn in my equipment (1 modem), there were customers still inside, and just as I was fixing to walk in the lady from the cox store, and I have no a clue what her name is with long black hair and somewhat tan ran to the door and told me with her arm swinging back-and-forth mouthed through the window “we are closed”. She proceeded to open the door, and I explained I had driven an hour to get here (no lie), and she shut the door and locked it walking off. That is the worst customer service I have ever seen in my entire life. I run multiple companies and I don’t shut down at 7 o’clock when there’s a customer walking through the door I stay open and I make sure that they get taken care of I will never use Cox again.

Ordered their Panoramic Wireless package and about six months afterward had a technician come to the house to make some adjustments. We learned that the modem we picked up at this location was in fact NOT a panoramic modem but looked similar, but was boxed in a pano box. Was not very happy. I just expect a certain level of service that the stuff I pay for is correct when I walk out of a location -- is that too much to ask for anymore?

Don't go off of Google Maps location for the Cox's location. They are actually located a short distance away in the building across the street/parking lot between State Farm and Eye Exam. Google will not update their map to a more accurate location when they have been informed. I used the google maps app on my phone to find the place and ended up driving around the parking lot for a few minutes until I found the store. The store is clean and when my fiancee was returning an internet modem they meet her at the door so she didn't have to walk all the way to the counter just to drop off a box. Which we greatly appreciated.

Great location. We upgraded our services and were able to go to this store and pick the new equipment up same day. The two technicians/reps were very professional and helpful, even taking note of my mentioning in passing how bad our previous WiFi had been and explaining how the new service would work much better, and to maximize output in those instances. Overall, very pleased and a continued customer.
