Gainesville's first and only ramen shop, bringing the traditional Japanese favorite to North Florida. Made using locally sourced ingredients and premium products, this is not the instant ramen most students are used to eating. All of our broths are made in house and takes over 24 hours of slow simmering to create its rich and delicate flavors. Crane is a little piece of the big city in Gainesville.

I remember this place being better when it first opened. The food tastes greasier these days and the general quality is more inconsistent. When it’s great the food here is delicious, but the last few times I’ve been it’s fallen a bit flat. Even so, this is a fun small restaurant in the heart of downtown, and the atmosphere and mixed drinks are really good.

I was thinking about giving three stars, but lucky my friend got the table so I didn’t have the experience that she did with the hostess. Over all the food was pretty good and our waiter was fantastic and got everything on point. The timing was a bit slow and could definitely be improved (waited way to long for a drink at the beginning of the meal). I will definitely go back and hope to get an even better experience.

I can not say enough good things about this place. Every time we go, it's a dream. Food is always beyond perfect. Drinks are handcrafted with love. My husband always treats me here whenever I have a bad day, or a good day, or celebrating. We come every chance we get. My favorites are the chicken buns, the shio ramen bowl and the lemon ginger cooler to drinks. My husband is more daring and I think he's had everything on the menu. Haven't had anything we haven't loved!

Amazing service. You're made to feel like the only one in the restaurant, despite the typical crowd. Super knowledgeable and always friendly. I don't have enough space here to discuss all the great food. The appetizers are phenomenal, if you don't try the roasted pork belly steamed buns you're missing out. If you need someplace to start try the Tonkotsu. It includes a marinated hard boiled egg that's worth the trip entirely on its own.

Fantastic ramen with rich and deep flavored broths. Expedient service and great atmosphere. Will stop here whenever I'm in town. Prices are mostly reasonable
