Jimotti's Restaurant

Jimotti's never disappoints! This is our go to restaurant. If you like sushi, the chef prepares it beautifully and fresh. Don't be afraid to go with a group, since there is something that it sure to appeal to everyone on their menu, even the kids. It is casual, and friendly with polite staff and good service. You will find daily features with sushi and grilled fish. There are numerous noodle dishes, a great appetizer selection (I love their chicken Karaage), a divine tomato and avocado salad, great hamburgers (!!!), sushi, grilled fish and even steak. Be sure to order black sesame ice cream for dessert. Jimotti's has a good selection of beer, wine and sake. We go frequently, and I have never seen anyone who didn't look like they were happy to be eating there.

Really great Japanese food, very authentic. Super flavorful broths for the ramen, and very fresh product used for the sushi. This is a hidden gem.

One of the best sushi restaurants we have been. They have a happy hour from 5pm-7pm where you can get sushi and appetizers for $5. Totally worth it. We tried their ramen noodle soup and it brought back memories when we were in Japan for our honeymoon. Highly recommended!

Food was pretty good though the "Califorenia" roll with real crab was very fishy. Service was slow and paid no attention to us each time they passed our table so we couldn't address the issues we were having for even longer. My hot tea was room temperature and it took almost 10 minutes to get checked on to get it remedied. There was only 1 other table at the time. Neither one of us felt great after eating the food. A couple of the rolls were tasty. The miso soup was tasty. My date's water glass had food on the rim. The bathroom is out side and the door doesn't lock (or at least, not easily because I thought it was locked and the cook walked in while I was using it). Overall, might give it another chance but unlikely.

Best value for great fresh Japanese cuisine. They do special menus for holidays like mothers day will be going back for their "omkase" chef prepared meal for my anniversary. Fantastic local spot,friendly staff, hidden local gem.
