Ichicoro Ramen

We knew we were in for a treat and a taste sensation, when upon entering we saw six chefs/students from a nearby culinary institute dining at Ichicoro Ramen. One might be tempted to make a meal from the appetizers alone. The soups are each individually prepared with base ingredients, which one may then add to to make it your own special treat. Polished cement walls and floors contrast nicely with the hand-made wooden tables. Limited parking in front, but there is a more sizable lot just south of the building, entered from Florida Ave.

This place is great. Independent restaurant that puts out INCREDIBLE food. Super cool modern vibe, groovy music and awesome service!! I had the mushroom ramen and it was amazing, my boyfriend had a chicken rice bowl he loved. We will DEFINITELY be back to try the rest of the menu!!! 😍

The service is good. The food is excellent, the broth rich & the noodles made in house, with a perfect bite. The cocktails change periodically, & what I've had so far all had a good flavor. There is pretty often a wait here, & the parking situation is pretty terrible, so expect to take your time here. The food comes out quickly once you do get seated & place your order. The atmosphere is nice, the decor well chosen, but the music is way too loud to really enjoy talking to your company, or even hear yourself think. The music & the parking are why this place doesn't get 5/5 for me.

Me and my boyfriend went there by lunch time. They have open kitchen is very clean and nice. We ordered two snacks and two bowls noodles. That was a lots food. They were so tested. We definitely will be back.

Parking is a challenge. Stylized ambiance. Visually warm, with nicely crafted tables and dishware. Seating is a little snug but the space well used. Ramen was delicious.
