Came here to order takeout for the first time.  **Cash only sign on the door** . Luckily I had cash. My husband ordered the whiting fish with hush puppies and peach cobbler.  The portion of fish was great for the value. My husband really enjoyed the taste but there was still some skin left on the fish. The hush puppies and peach cobbler were delish. Overall can't complain. Quick service and great value!

I had the best catfish dinner with 2 mac & cheese sides I’ve ever tasted. Perfect! Such a big portion, so crispy and melty in my mouth. My wife’s scallops were unforgettable, too. The kind, quick service made our date a real pleasure. This was our first visit, we’ll be back again and again. Wow!

My ex used to bring me and my grandson there, for take out, about 15 years ago. My grandson is always eating out but I  don't  care for restaurant food. For some reason, yesterday, Crockett came into my head. I have always LOVED their potato salad. My grandson drove there and picked me up a whiting dinner. It was better than I  remembered. My grandson  couldn't  believe I'd  remember after  15 years; I  told him it's  the potato salad! I'm  glad he's  going to be going there for himself now for the Mac and cheese!

Crockett's your portions are way too small for $20? Come on!  This is William Street Fish Market! $11 portions hugh taste amazing!

I love this place. I've come here often. They have delicious fries seafood I usually get the scallops, shrimp, whiting and catfish. Everything is flavorful and reasonably priced. FYI They are cash onlyFood: 5/5

I was craving for authentic southern cooking. Mainly wanting whiting fish sandwich with mac & cheese. I also ordered fried catfish, sweet potato fries and the cole slaw. The food was from another world. The prices are just right and you get enough in one order to feed 2 people.Food: 5/5

Man did this place fall off. I bought a nice amount of food because the last time I was here it was the bomb. NOPE not this time the sweet potato pies omg was cut with the tray on it and was horrible, the fish barley seasoned and the greens suckef. I'm not trying that again.

This is the best fried fish you’ll get in the area, and this is coming from a native New Yorker. The fish is always fresh and made on demand, depending on the day or the cook you may have it flavored better or not. The sides are actually banging. My go to is the cat fish sandwich with a side of greens and yams. Steak fries are great. The Mac and cheese is not my cup of tea, but the potato salad is pretty damn good for a restaurant. The sweet potato pie is just okay, not a fan of the cut aluminum pan at the bottom of each slice. The man who runs the place is kind but I haven’t seen him in a while. Cash only spot so come ready! Also call your order in advance so you don’t have a long wait. Either way with this, I usually still have to wait. Good luck finding parking
