Visited one apartment and only in one room. Was easy complex to find, enough parking and easy to enter. Residents say it is convenient and meets their needs.
Cross Country Manor Apartments are centrally located in Northwest Baltimore's Jewish neighborhood. The rent is moderate. I like the proximity to shopping, highways, and neighborhood resources. The buildings are circa 1950 but have been updated with air conditioning, modern appliances, floor tile, and carpets. Management is responsive to requests for maintenance or assistance. There is prompt snow removal and adequate parking. Like living in other older apartment buildings, I can hear my upstairs neighbors, sometimes a little too much. TV and music sometimes come through the walls and ceiling at a louder volume than is desirable. I enjoy a ground level apartment and have a small planter box in which I grew flowers.
My move in experience here at cross country was great! Toye, Amber, and Crystal in the leasing office were very accommodating. Great Staff!!! The apartment is cozy. Not many amenities but it is clean and quiet enough. The maintenance staff so far have been efficient and pleasant. So far I am very pleased.
It's overall a very good place to live. Our apartment is smaller than our friends' apartments in the area, but we are paying much less. We really like to storage room downstairs, but the laundry room is disgusting and I refuse to go there at night by myself. The customer service is pretty solid- they respond quickly and usually efficiently. There have been a few times where I had to follow up with them about an issue in order for it to be resolved. Overall, happy to be here.
I lived in Baltimore for 15 years this was the first community that cares about their residents - maintenance , leasing agent Toye and Amber was the absolute best always helped me with each and every need. Quiet community maintenance came to fix whatever was needed , If I didn’t move to PA I would have lived here forever .. Since day 1 leasing agents and Maintenance team made me feel at home I did not want to move but had to due to job change in which the Manager Michael was very understanding and accommodating to me and my family needs Thanks Again Michael, Toye, And Maintenance Team!!!!! I recommend anyone that wants to feel right at home to apply here!!
Horrible maintenance. Horrible neighbors. Cheap rent. But lots of problems with bugs on the first floor. The shared laundry is a disaster. Most of the office managers and office workers are fairly rude or snarky when you need to speak to them. My roof of my bathroom caved in on me for a leak upstairs which I reported two years prior. Wasnt given a discount on rent and had to run humidifiers for weeks while I worked from home during the Pandemic. The water ruined the carpet and they refused to replace it - only clean it. It was GROSS. SEWAGE water. Maintenance was rude and there was no apology given. Only attitude.
Very pleased with the service I received from Cross Country Manor. Agents are so friendly and professional. They were so helpful throughout our moving process! I’ll recommend them to everyone. The area is so calm and clean. Hands down THE EASIEST MOVING PROCESS EVER! My apartment is beautiful and spacious. Beyond satisfied.
Very unprofessional, upstairs neighbors walking up everyday at 4-8 stomping and moving furniture arguing all types of things. I've called leaseing office and they refuse to do anything but b/c they are long time residents they would rather listen to the complaints of them.they say I bang on the ceiling I've gotten noise complaints. it's doesn't even make sense, why would I just randomly just bang on ceilings? Don't move here! Apartments made poorly and the staff doesn't care about your home needs.
Overall just okay. The buildings are very old and in the winter its freezing. Even with the heat all the way up, its always very very cold. Walls are thin and you can hear everything, even a sneeze or alarm clock of the next door neighbor. Buildings have serious roof problems and they never seem to get fixed so I’ve been stuck with damp carpet and mold for years. Neighborhood is always a mess. Toys, strollers and other peoples personal property are always left out in common areas and all over the place. It’s literally unsafe to have to step over strollers and toys just to exit your own building. Trash is always overflowing and in the street and litter in the common areas . Rent prices go up every year but no additional amenities for the price. Maintenance is excellent and always there the same day. Its very easy to pay the rent with an online portal. Staff members are outstanding and very easy to get in contact with. Size of the apartments is pretty good. parking is a bit awful after 9pm. In building laundry is convenient but the price is ever changing for the machines so watch for price changes.
If you are looking for a decently priced apartment in an area that is local to all major Baltimore highways, this is for you. For the city, grounds are kept fairly nice and the parking is never a problem for me or my guests. I live on the first floor, so if you are a freak about bugs or a light sleeper, this is then not for you. Community is quiet but my neighbor upstairs is not, lol. Sometimes you have to really ride the butt of the office staff to get issues taken care of, but there have been instances where they have fought for me as well. For the most part, minor issues with my place- maintenance is incredibly prompt and kind. All of them that I have encountered. I will say they sort of put band-aids on issues, but what apartment complex doesn't. Apartments here are not the newest, so you will have issues with things just simply being outdated, overpainted, non-fixable, etc. But for the cost in comparison, the good outweighs the bad. No washer or dryer indoor. Loads are 2 bucks a pop. Always a back up with my neighbors. Safe area since it is far enough away from the bus stops and shopping centers, but close enough for convenience.
