We were here 3/25/18 and we knew it was busy....our waitress...informed us immediately of the wait time which was very long but as a manager of a much smaller cafe I respect this and appreciated it very much. We had our 2 small kids with us and our waitress did a nice job of getting our drinks fairly quick despite the large amounts of tables he had. I noticed a sign looking for a line cook and almost asked for a job because I want to move to CO so bad! We had salads and homemade mac for the kids...we did know it would take a while for our food, but we thought it was very good! So for all of you behind the scenes yesterday give yourself a pat on the back! It's hard to please everyone in this fast paced world and we think you gave us a great product! I thought the pricing was fair also....I did read the burgers were 10 oz or so.....and just in case anyone thinks beef is cheap....it is not....and the only reason I didn't try one is because I sell 5 oz burgers and that's a Gods plenty for me! So from my tiny cafe to yours - KEEP IT UP!
WEAR THAT SMILE PROUDLY! IT TAKES GREAT PEOPLE TO MAKE A GREAT RESTAURANT!
THANKS FOR A GOOD MEAL ON OUR QUICK STOP THROUGH YESTERDAY!

It's just recently changed ownership. They used make their pizza in a square shape and the last time it was round original shape. For some reason the square taste better. I was told I can order it square the next time I go in. That's what I will do. But the best pizza in town. We make the 2 hour drive a couple times a year.

As I was leaving lunch today I sent my husband a message that said, "should have stayed home and had a banana, it would have been better!". I think that pretty much sums up this restaurant. Fast- food quality at ski slope prices. As a resident of this mountain community I've tried this place several times since it took new ownership within the past year, sadly this place is just bad food and lack luster service. While leaving dissatisfied the bartender encouraged me to give them another try, unfortunately you can only throw away your money and go home hungry so many times...
I'd suggest skipping this place- Zoka, Snowpack or the Rustic are all much better dining options.

Really good boneless buffalo wings. Pizza is good. Staff was super cool. Pizza was burnt but we were discounted 10 percent so that was nice. Will be back to try a burger...

We've lived here several years and haven't dropped in because we'd heard it's crowded, loud, and pretty expensive for a burger/pizza joint. They fixed that with an impressive early-bird special: M-Th before 5 PM, any burger on the menu, fries, and a beer for $10. Non-weekend, off-hours so not packed, quiet enough, and a generous special.
We love to be pleasantly surprised (a rarity these days it seems) and when our friendly server took our order, we found out the beer can be ANY beer on draft. Really? Our experience has been that the beer in a special like this has to be swill (ahem, Aspen Perk) but no, any beer on draft!
Dear Wife got a Tommyknocker seasonal and me a Colorado Native. Their burgers are half pound Angus chuck; she had the California and me the New Mexican with the green chili on the side. I've never understood the whole green chili thing - I'm thinking it's some secret handshake among CO natives, like the French pretending to like snails - but theirs is tasty. Four stars only because the french fries weren't very good, overcooked we thought. Four and a half stars if we could.
