Southern Sun

This place is amazing! We came in with a wedding party of twenty- and we had the best time! They were very accommodating to our large party, we felt so welcome. They made it special! Shout out to the gm Michael and our server Chris for making this memorable. Service was amazing. Highly recommended. Oh and the food and beer is on point 😊

What I enjoy most about the Southern Sun is relaxing in with a beer and talking with the staff. Everyone there seems excited to see you as you walk into their facility and happy to share stories about what's going on in their lives. The family feel is contagious. I would walk into the Southern Sun for this experience alone as not many other places in Boulder Provide it. They are a cash based business, no credit cards accepted, which is awesome and seemingly unique to Boulder, CO. Just be prepared before you walk in the door, they also have an ATM handy just in case! Their beer selection will have you drooling after the first look at the menu, so many varieties, styles, and rotations coming in and out. Each time I go they seem to have a couple new beers on the menu. My favorite beer is the ISADORE JAVA PORTER, I love my coffee and beer combination, so enriching for the soul. They have taken 6 gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival, it sounds like they are doing a lot of things right! Enjoy your time at the Southern Sun!

Neighborhood favorite. Great burgers, AMAZING fries! Nachos are really good, too! Beer is awesome. Limited bar - only vodka. Cash only. No dogs on the patio - but fantastic views!

Tasty food and good beer and wine options. I'm typically ahuge fan of their wines. They are cash only, but there is an ATM there if you forget. They have a good variety of table sizes and it's a good option for larger groups, especially work happy hours. I also really like the outdoor seating and proximity to sweet cow.

The Southern Sun is one of my favorite establishments in Boulder. Quality food prepared fresh when you order it and amazing beer brewed in-house is all you need to know. The staff here is a well oiled machine. I am always amazed by their friendliness and efficiency. I like to sit at the bar just so I can watch them work. A very well managed restaurant that has never disappointed me.
