D & P Communications

Expensive and unreliable service, poor speeds and unusable in the evening. I had them out to investigate issues multiple times before they gave up and said it won't be fixed and to leave if I want to. They know they're the only option in the area. Terrible experience.

I've used D&P for almost 20 years in three different municipalities and they have generally been good. Uptime is a lot better than large national providers. I only have an issue once or twice a year and the local support is pretty good about answering the phone and working to get it up and running again. My only complaint is that over the years any problem has always been on *their* end, and sometimes it takes some time to get them to realize that.

I do not recommend d&p to anyone. They charge a very high rate. Their internet goes out weekly, their cable channels don't work half of the time. Every time you call out for an issue, their reply is, " did you unplug it and plug it back in? " I would rate lower than 1 if I could

Unreliable Connection is the #1 complaint from me. Unexplained disconnects ranging from a few minutes to a couple hours on a DAILY (and no I am not kidding) basis and never anything said on their website about why or how it happened? My employment works through them as well and it is the same thing, so I know it is not my residence that is the problem. They KNOW they are the only game in town for rural areas so it is either them or Frontier, which I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, so you are stuck with a crappy provider. Have them for over 6 years and nothing has improved. a real shame.

Seriously worst company ever I have no other option for internet but them and most rural customers in my area are in the same boat. Customer service is horrible. I called to have my new modem activated that I bought at 3:30 pm once I got off work and their response is will do are best to get it activated by 5:00 pm if not it will be activated by 5 tomorrow and now I'm just supposed to spend the rest of my day with no internet waiting for you to hopefully turn it on by tomorrow since it's 6:55 and it not in and their closed. Really I could go on and on about this company and there lack of care for there customer who keep them in business but I don't have anymore time to waste on them. Certainly they don't have the time to waste on a 5 year customer!!! Truly sad!!!
