Good for a small group of friends, a bigger social gathering, or even to hang out solo. Relaxed atmosphere in upscale setting. Great wine selection always being updated. The owner is very helpful in ordering bottles of wine you liked for you to purchase.

I recommend you give it a try, we had a good time, but at the end of the day we spent quite a bit and didn't feel like we got much for it. Bottles were often empty when I would go to refill so I only had pricier options to chose from at times, but there are two floors with stations you can browse. It was cold, and we were upstairs in a side room that would have benefited from having a small heater. It was fun sampling different flavors but self-serve wine from a machine is going to be a little tacky no matter how you do it.

Wine selection was fine but the service was terrible. Very rude staff at the counter.

This is an adorable little wine bar. They have an automatic system that lets you select 3 different sizes of portions. Iowa law is wacky, as often you have to pre-pay, but it's easy. There is also a bar with beer and liquor.
