Joseph's Steakhouse

If you live in Iowa City this is probably one of the best restaurants in town. However if you're used to a bigger metropolitan like the Twin Cities or Chicago, I'd give this place an 8 out of 10. Service was kind of slow and the restaurant wasn't even full. Pricing was on point for the food. We really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Would definitely go again.

This place is awesome. Great food and great service! Rob our waiter was absolutely Great! He accommodated us perfectly. From flowers to champaign for our anniversary. Highly recommended!!

Great steaks...prime rib & more! However for such a high end eatery .....service was far sub standard, forgot drinks, too long to wait to ask for little things that added up to poor service. Great food! Still thirsty

We decided on this restaurant after attending a college gymnastics meet. I loved the low lighting and that the tables were not on top of each other. Ordered the wedge salad - how do you go wrong with a wedge? Delish. Skipped the appetizer and went straight for an entree. I ordered the surf and turf and it was amazing. The filet mignon was like slicing into butter - a little bit of heaven. The lobster was deliciously prepared - dipped in butter - amazing. Just the right potion size!!!! Topped it all off with an amazing blackberry lemon drop - So delicious - completely relaxing. Recommend this place highly!!
