Share Wine Lounge & Small Plate Bistro

I was there for half price appetizers day. The food was good for the half price starters... I never ate an actual meal here. If I had to pay full price it would not be worth it.

Please don’t go here, you will interrupt the bartender’s texting! I used to love this place but the food and service were terrible tonight. Totally empty restaurant, no food for 45 minutes and then all of our small plates came at once. Most of it had obviously been sitting around for awhile. My poor husband arrived late and his order was never taken. Good thing or we’d still be there. The bartender was very very busy texting the whole time.

Worked there for a month, wasn't properly trained, didn't make an effort to work around a college schedule at all, tell me I owe them $75 when I quit. Nothing good to say

Overpriced, under trained staff. Had a big party- the server couldn't remember who ordered what. Shots were over priced- 13.65 for a shot of patron? And the shot was incredibly small, they said 1.5 oz but they im guessing an oz at best. Food was dry and not very flavorful. The only thing good was the company I was with. Might be worth the price in the summer when there's music. If you're traveling do yourself a favor and walk a bit. Iowa City has much more to offer. Try Mondos Saloon or Mickeys.

Went there for lunch on a Saturday. Very few patrons. The cream for the $3 coffee came in a wine glass, they could not find an appropriate pitcher. The sugar container at the table was nearly empty, and had to scrounge for it from other tables. The choices on the menus were few, and not appealing. Though spacious, clean, and great location, will not be going there again.
