Donnelly's bartended our wedding and they were fantastic! Josh, the manager, was incredibly helpful and gave fantastic advice on what we needed and what we didn't. Our venue, Old Brick Church, allowed for outside alcohol vendors and we were so happy we went with Donnelly's. Professional and easy to work with!

This place in my opinion has the best buffalo burger in town. Good drinks and food overall. Also you can watch sport games

Every time I've gone here in the last six months, it's gotten worse and worse. Most of my favorite bartenders and servers have been replaced by rude, inattentive people. With the new ownership, at first they tried to save money by significantly cutting down on portion sizes (you'd get ten fries with fewer wings). They've recently come out with a new menu that is aesthetically awful, upped the prices, gotten rid of some Donnelly's favorites (sweet potato fries, fried mushrooms, creative seasonal cocktail specials). Incredibly disappointed that one of my 5+ year favorites in Iowa City has gone down the hole.

Awesome Irish food and drink with an Iowa City feel. One of my go too spots in the ped mall.

I ate here almost every week day for two years. Buffalo chicken sandwich is awesome. As is the Ruben and their potato salad.
