Dental Care Center of South Kansas City

Truly amazing. Aside from the part where the dentist took my tooth out, I really felt like I was at The Paris Ritz the entire time. The decor of the entire office was strikingly beautiful. The waiting area was homely and warm, and exceedingly comfortable. Every single person I encountered was charming and gracious, and exceptionally knowledgeable. Dr Hurst was extremely expert, and I immediately felt relaxed and at ease in the care of himself and his colleagues. Five. Gold. Stars. Just wow.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr Stiver is awesome. He personally called me to see how I was doing after having my wisdom teeth extracted earlier that day. Didn't expect the him or anyone to call to check on me. I really appreciate it.

They made my visit so comfortable! I haven't been to the dentist in years & had some painful work done but everyone there made it a great experience! The staff was very knowledgeable about my dental insurance so I didn't have to worry about a thing. The hygienist and dentist were absolutely AMAZING! I had no idea going to the dentist could actually be a fun comfortable experience.

I would give zero stars, if possible. Dentist-great. Hygienist-great. Knowledge of insurance plans- possibly nothing. Took my daughter here and I thought it was covered for preventative at 100%. It was not and they failed to tell me. I talk to insurance company and then them. They said it was an oversight on their part and pay at my leisure. So I pay $65 because they forgot to tell me something? I don’t think so. I’m getting my daughters x rays and going somewhere else.

I avoided the dentist for years until I found Dr. Stiver and this office. Now I won't go anywhere else. The entire staff is wonderful and they are so understanding with me and my anxiety.
