DICK'S Sporting Goods

The Dick's i visted at Hanover Mall was one of the largest and best Sporting Good stores I've seen. I was just looking for a men's straw sun hat... They had about 6-8 different ones. Each ranged in price from downright inexpensive (9.99) to mid (19.99) ranged to upper end (39.99) After finding what i wanted, i began walking around...bikes were on sale...store had everything. It was loaded. Checking out was a minor inconvenience...by the time the Manager called for help at the front, the girl adeptly and swiftly checked out 3 customers to get to me...about a 4-5 minute wait. Not bad. Could be better. Quality store. Clean, Organized.

Usually very happy with this store, not so much on this visit. I went to the front to the customer service counter where one customer was being very obtuse and taking forever so that associate was tied up, but the other 3 that were milling around chitchatting with each other should have done their jobs and figured out which one was going to help me. I was there to buy to complete kayak outfits, boats, paddles, pfd's, dry bags, wet suit, shoes, gloves, a fish finder/GPS combo unit just to name a few things. After 10 minutes of being ignored I walked out. Cabelas and Bass Pro Shop sell kayaks too.

Great sales and service. Good hours too. Loved that they were open early

Pretty much find what you need, prices little high, staff so so on personality, had some staff act like I was bothering them for help.

Good selection. Prices are high but thats just how Dicks is.
