DICK'S Sporting Goods

Dicks is a pretty good about having the gear you'll need. I come here for my boxing, running, cycling and hiking gear. Their clothes are a bit on the pricey side for me. They do run some really good clearance sales a lot though. I've only encountered helpful staff members. Staff is also pretty knowledgeable about their store and products.

Never go to dicks for golf clubs. I went in for a repair and the guy would not help. Pretty much told me to take my business somewhere else. Will never shop there again.

I needed help finding a size for pants and the person on the floor said they would check the back. I waited about 10 minutes and asked another clerk to check on the first. They left. I waited another 10 minutes and left myself. No one came back.

Sales girl was so helpful. Think her name was Michelle. She helped me find some cuffed jogging pants with zippers on the pockets. Would gladly shop there again

They carry a wide variety of inventory but lack customer service. Never have enough cashiers. I used to work at Dick's back in the 90's and we always kept front loaded with cashiers. I guess times have changed and they wonder why brick and mortar stores are fading. When companies cut back on customer service they don't differentiate themselves from online retailers. I hope someday retail figures this out before its too late.
