It was our first time and everything was good. We had Temale Slit and it was fire. We had two spaghetti dishes; Spaghetti with Meatballs, and Spaghetti with Italian Sausage. The meatball was good, soft and tasty, noodle and sauce cook perfectly. We did not really like the sausage, it was burned and salty. The place was clean and designed with old Italian style, which we enjoyed.
I could tell a lot of work went into the spaghetti sauce. It wasn't to my taste, but that's no fault of the restaurant. Most people would enjoy it immensely. Lots of garlic. If you live by the truism "there's no such thing as too much garlic" then this is the place for you. You'll love the sauce. I wish I did too, I just don't like garlic. The portion sizes are huge, bring an appetite. We could have ordered 2 adult meals and fed all 4 of us. The kids portions were more than I could eat, especially with the included garlic bread. Minus 1 star because the noodles were super over cooked. I was surprised how bad they were and I don't think it was just a personal taste issue. I'm not usually fussy about noodles. And the milk wasn't very fresh, my kids wouldn't drink it. Minus 2 stars for the lack of cleanliness. The eating areas were alright, but the back rooms and bathrooms desperately need work. The women's toilet rocks badly, and the bathroom smells like the toilet is leaking around the base. Based on the build up around the sink I can see that cleanliness is not a priority. I wasn't impressed with the glimpses of the food storage or kitchens that I could see on the way back. I gave one star back because the waitress was so nice and patient with my children. She made it a lovely time. Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to children. The kids menu is sized-down portions of the adult menu. They provided cups with lids and straws.
I've been coming here as long as I can remember. We celebrated birthdays and sports victories here growing up. Service is always on point and the family is awesome. My god baby is a huuuuge fan of the pesto Alfredo chicken pasta. Also pictured is the tamales with chilli on top. Fun family friendly vibes at Dinos.Food: 5/5

The city of Memphis is a city that receives and EARNS a lot of criticism and disdain nationwide. It is indeed a city on the fast track of despair and decline. I only mention this because within the four walls of corruption, crime and poor leadership, there are still some real GEMS! There are still some very fine people just trying to survive. One such place, is Dino's Grill! This eating establishment has been around a long time and has earned its spot as a landmark and a must stop amongst your travels throughout the city. The regulars know where to go when they want some fantastic food and Dino's always delivers. You will receive good service, a good atmosphere and even better yet; great food. Their sauce is great and their meatballs and Muffulettas are fantastico! Honestly,...you will like everything they bring out to you! The onion rings are great too. So,..if you find yourself stuck in Memphis and you have the time, go to Dino's and they will turn your frown upside down! There are still some great people here and some equally great places. You just have to dig deep to find them.
Dino’s is always a great meal. Hot, fresh and delicious, always cooked perfectly. I especially love the sauce. Also a fave is the bruschetta, and toasted ravioli. Save room because the tiramisu tops it off nicely!Food: 5/5
This place is phenomenal. Best lil whole in the wall, unknown gem in the city! Everything we had was made from scratch old school Italian recipes. Even the home made Italian dressing with chunky whole minced garlic celery onions and olives made my day! The garlic butter sauce lacked a bit of pizazz but our wonderful server John helped me out with some parmesan pesto sauce that did the trick. The chix parm was a full filet of chic battered with the family sauce recipe. The chix alfredo classic delicious. John's knowledge of the history of the diner and the food was second to none. He attended our every need and made our experience exceptional. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience while out dining with my family.
I enjoyed Dino's low key restaurant was not crowded on a Saturday. I ordered the Italian salad and grilled chicken sandwich with bell peppers and onions! The service was great. My Sister ordered Chicken parmesan ravolio covered in spaghetti sauce. Her appetizer was the wedding soup. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We will be back to dine again.
Great experience!! Amazing food I had Cheese Pizza and club sandwich. Tiramisu is fabulous!! Staff so friendly
