We recently bought a nice sofa for our basement space, and were pleased with what we found here and the great service we experienced when in the store. There are two sisters who have been working both times we've been in, and they're both just delightful and helpful.
When the piece arrived, however, we unfortunately learned that it wasn't going to fit down the stairs to our basement, so had to return it which we obviously paid to do. But we were shocked to learn that we couldn't get a refund, only store credit. Really, the piece had been off their showroom floor for literally like an hour, so they certainly weren't out anything and had a great opportunity to make a customer happy. In the end we did find an alternative piece that will work, but in this day and age i don't believe a "store credit only" policy is acceptable, and certainly not competitive with the many alternatives like Wayfare who place the customer first. As much as we liked the staff, I'd never buy here again.

I have purchased several pieces of furniture here. The prices and quality are great as is their customer service. They have been helpful in answering my questions and following up on my order.

Beautiful store. You can find just about anything you could want. Great prices and fantastic staff. Always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure there customer are happy.

Buyer beware! Direct Source sells average quality furniture at reasonable prices. However, if your order arrives with a problem, don't expect that the problem will ever be resolved.
I ordered a bedroom set that arrived at the end of March. Two drawers on the dresser did not open and close properly. I contacted Direct Source the day after delivery and was promised a new dresser within a few weeks. Two months later, the promised replacement dresser had not arrived nor was it even on its way. The first dresser took less than three weeks. I really wanted a dresser that I could use and was tired of the delay. At that point, I asked for parts to fix the dresser myself. It took another full month to get half the replacement parts. It's now October, over six months since I first informed Direct Source of the damage. I still have not received the other half of the replacement parts that I need to fix the dresser and I don't believe that I'll ever receive parts for the repair.
I've asked for a discount on the dresser at least twice during my many communications with Direct Source, but that never happened. They blame their supplier for the continual delays, which may actually be the case. However, Direct Source doesn't seem to understand that when they take money for a product, they have an obligation to follow through and make things right for their customers, even if their supplier leaves them in a bind. I think it's ridiculous that I paid full price for a piece of furniture that I now have to repair and they can't even supply the parts or offer a discount. Customer service at Direct Source is a joke. Never again.
