Dodge Pool

Came here for swimming lessons. I am used to going to another pool for lessons but they filled up, so we came here. I guess I assumed Columbus Parks and Rec swimming lessons would be the same across the board; this is not so. These were nothing like what we were used to. Pretty unorganized. The kids spent a lot of time waiting around doing nothing, as doing anything required a lifeguard for assistance... And there were only two. Oh and yeah... One session, we waited a loooooooong time for someone to arrive to open up the gate. 20+ minutes which is a long time considering lessons are only like 45 minutes. We called, nobody answered. There were other lifeguards inside, so I'm not sure what was up with that? Pretty ridiculous. We weren't given any sort of explanation, of course. These classes are FREE, so I hate to give it two stars BUT other pools have made it work and have acted professional, so I feel like they can improve if they wanted to. We didn't finish the classes. We probably won't be back. Also, the location is not ideal. Pool looks nice though. The kids liked the play area. Nice restrooms.

My kids love it however the so called life guard kept yelling at the kids for standing on the little concret peice after going down to get out of the water so my 6 year old went and tried to go over it Vs standing on it and fell under the water with the guard right there several times by the time I got to her. So fun place but I was watching my baby so maybe you need to be in the water with them because the lifeguards aren't to great

They had long periods of time where only adults could swim and someone had vomited in the pool and they lines are WAY TO LONG

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !!! It has a good Atmosphere, the life guards are amazing at their job and the managers keep things under control I would recommend going to join dive and swim team they are great .
