Love this place! The staff is awesome! I bring my dogs to all 3 three locations— I love that my passes are interchangeable at each location.

Great service, friendly staff! My dog always comes home from daycare exhausted and happy, and since their overnight care is cageless, I don't have to worry about my dog hurting himself trying to escape a kennel or cage. They are staffed 24/7 and truly offer the best care around, ESPECIALLY for my high-energy, anxious pooch.

My 6-month-old Lab puppy stayed here for 8 nights while I was out of town. We are new to the area, and liked the idea of cage-less dog boarding. Booking and drop off went smoothly - I provided food and detailed feeding instructions. We enjoyed the ability to check in on him through their live video feed, but a few days in, we noticed a husky aggressively attacking other dogs - to the point that they were trying to run away, and although there was no sound it was clear the other dogs were afraid. I watched this go on for several minutes without any employee coming to break it up. I regret not calling to say something, because the next day, I received notification that my dog was attacked.
They told me that the dogs were playing a little rough, and my puppy got scratched on the nose (I later discovered that he also had bite marks of the top of his head). Though this worries me, it is a risk with cage-less boarding, and I was willing to accept that. The fact that he got scratched has nothing to do with my poor review. What bothers me is that there wasn't an employee to step in and remove the aggressive dog. In fact, they weren't even sure what kind of dog attacked my puppy. I asked if it was a husky, as I had previously seen, and they weren't sure, but did confirm that a husky had been removed from the pen. This is my second concern - they weren't even sure what kind of dog attacked him, so that indicates no one was watching them. Furthermore, they don't have video recording, only live stream, so it was impossible to see how long he was being harassed/attacked by the other dog before anyone stepped in
Finally, when I picked him up, he appeared to have lost weight - a near impossible feat for a growing lab puppy. But, when they returned his food container, it was only half empty. I had provided enough for 2 extra nights, and he ended up staying one extra. He should have had almost no food left.
I expressed my displeasure to the staff on duty, and did get a call from the district/regional management. I will say that they were very understanding, and agreed with some of my concerns. They acknowledged that if they were in my position, they would be upset as well, so for that I am appreciative. The only thing that I didn't like in these interactions was that one manager (Luke) said that someone is watching the dogs 80-90% of the time, and only during the morning drop off periods are they left unattended. This is unacceptable! Accidents happen that 10% of the time when nobody is watching. At that point, it's not a boarding facility - it's a free-for-all. The number one priority needs to be the health and safety of the dogs, and unfortunately this location failed at both.
During my talks with management, I did learn that they are going through a leadership change, and they would implement procedures to address my concerns. Additionally, they did compensate me with one free night. Though I appreciate this, and hope they make changes for the better, I can't in good conscious send my dog back, nor would I recommend anyone send theirs.

PLEASE READ BEFORE LEAVING YOUR DOG AT DOG PAWZ. I dropped my dog off at the Dog Pawz in the crossroads for the first time ever this past weekend. The week before dropping him off I talked to several staff members who reassured me that there is someone watching the dog rooms at all times to make sure the dogs are okay. Several staff members also reassured me that if anything did happen, I would be notified although they also told me they rarely had any issues. So after being made to believe that the staff is very attentive, you can imagine my shock when I came to pick up my dog and his ear had a huge bloody scab with chunks of fur missing. We immediately questioned the staff as to what happened and why I was not notified and why there were no details of the event in the summary they gave me. The staff validated my concerns and assured they would look into it. The HUGE problem i have with this place is that as I was leaving with my dog, the owner happened to be there and heard the situation. He came out into the parking lot and asked to see my dog. He then proceeded the argue with me, interrupt me CONSTANTLY as I tried to voice my concerns, and tell me he didn't think the injury was that bad. He actually interrupted me to tell me I was exaggerating even though his own staff just agreed with me. He also proceeded to tell me they can't watch the dogs all the time but they would find out who's fault it is? When I pointed out he was contradicting himself he became very unprofessional. Keep in mind that I was not aggressive or even rude when speaking with the owner. In fact, I started off the conversation actually being understanding. Its the fact that this guy clearly knows NOTHING about customer service and if he has anything to do with how the staff is trained, it is NO WONDER my dog was injured and nobody knew a SINGLE thing about what happened. This is my first google review but I felt i had to share my experience. The owner was also very quick to say they would not cover the cost for my dog to see a vet EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T EVEN BRING IT UP. He also made no offer to refund the $86.00 I just paid them PLUS THE TIP I VOLUNTARILY LEFT THE STAFF. Very defensive customer service FROM THE OWNER HIMSELF is a sign that they deal with this kind of stuff A LOT. You run a risk leaving your dog in a cage free facility, but you trust the staff is on your side. Not the case if you happen to run into the owner who is a loud, defensive, and extremely disrespectful to customers. With that said, I don't think the people working in the facility are rude at all, but they clearly have some team members who are not attentive. I'm just sad I trusted this place and my French Bulldog is the one who had to pay the price.
