Dolphin

The start of Memorial Day weekend and the place was crowded with happy folks. Children and parents played and walked and sat in beach chairs along the shore before coming into their dinner. Nice staff, helpful and competent; plenty of parking, delicious and varied menu. Salads were unusual and yummy. A few gluten free options for dinner, and huge mouthwatering blueberry muffins with each meal for those that wanted them. Scallops were perfectly cooked. Welcoming to children and elders alike.

I had the fish chowder which is served with a large blueberry muffin. The Chowder was very good and had large pieces of haddock. I did think the children should have been a little hotter though. The blueberry muffin was excellent.

The views alone is worth the visit; however, the food and service are also spectacular. The prices are reasonable and fair. You can boat to the Dolphin and dock for a meal. There's also a new gift shop with really nice things that are lasting momentos of your visit.

Food is great, been going there for years, always pleased. Amazing atmosphere, view is spectacular. Wait staff is very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it.

The view, spectacular. The service, excellent. The atmosphere is casual and very pleasant. The food is good, nothing special for the price. I had a fried haddock dinner with French Fries and cole slaw. The haddock was very good, the French Fries a cheap, mostly tasteless shoestring cut and the cole slaw quite underwhelming. If not for the marvelous views of Casco Bay and the outlying islands along with the excellent service I'd have given Dolphin Seafood a solid 3 star rating.
