Fore street was very highly recommended by family and friends. It was a process to get a reservation, which only heightened my anticipation and expectations of a great meal and even better service. During my reservation process I was assured that staff Could provide a child friendly meal for our adult handicapped son. Upon being seated, Our server informed me that this was impossible and that the chefs were too busy and worked too hard on the provided menu to make any concessions whatsoever. Probably should have left at that point but was with a large group. Food good but not great. My fish was over cooked, though the praline cake was delicious. Others at my table enjoyed the meal very much. Will not return and cannot recommend based on the rather shabby treatment.

Amazing experience. Ambience, service, are top notch.
The sea bass and the chicken were from another world (yes, they made the humble chicken awesome)
Should be a detail... but their sourdough bread is also addictive!

One of the best culinary experiences in New England. Never disappointed. Even the garnish is the best thing you've ever tasted! Daily menu does not disappoint. Worth every penny.

Incredible food from bread to dessert! The sour dough bread is delish served with really soft, creamy butter and separate salt and pepper. The butter lettuce salad i had as an appetizer was quite unusual especially with its candied almonds. The dressing was a little too light i thought. The bluefish (my main course) was delicious and so were the fiddlehead ferns and the blue cheese asparagus sides we ordered. Mussels are a must!
