Douglas KOA Journey

Really loved this place. The park is very well maintained, staff are great and helpful. They have special picnics depending on holiday events or for just to treat people nice. The spots are far enough apart that you still have privacy and don't have to share your morning coffee with neighbors. Amazing place at a great cost. The pool is well kept, they have an excellent fenced pet yard, putt putt golf, and plenty of space surrounding to see antelope with the morning. Amazing place

Awesome KOA. We stayed here one night in late May 2017 and were very happy with the staff and the location. We did not use many of the amenities as we were in and out pretty fast. We did use the cable TV hook up! Most TV channels our RV has ever seen lol.... But the views were really nice around the campground. Nice large pull thru site.

This is by far our favorite KOA! Clean and lovely, easy access. And the staff are TOP NOTCH

This is a rest area. Stopped to use bathroom. Clean and well lit at nite.

Absolutely the best place ever! We were traveling from florida to montana with 2 horses. I contacted them to confirm availability and my message was answered with a phone call and a cheery, helpful voice! I gave eta of arrival however, given traffic and an being stuck behind a major accident, our host was still checking on us and happily met us at 1am to show us where to offload our weary horses, had water ready and even helped offload and lead them to their stall! Never once was there any sign that she was tired or trying to rush us so she could get back to bed! What a trooper!! We were created the next morning at check out by the owner and truly a pleasurable experience and converation. The showers were very clean, the grounds immaculate, had a few activities...mini golf, pool, etc. Cabin was warm and cozy, not to mention super cute! The heater was turned on so the room as toasty, a great forethought considering it was 32 when we arrived! Definitely a stop anytime we are in the area. I hope to get back down to do some riding in that area too!
