Rawlins KOA Journey

Made reservations far in advance, requested a pull through large site, stating our size and popouts with a tow. Upon arrival early afternoon, office was closed. Found our spot, way too narrow and was encroached by a dead tree. Finally found a staff person who was rude and insisted that was our spot. By simple view, the place was less than half occupied. The park appears to be in great disrepair. We had to cancel and drive on to another campground. We will not stay here.

I could not get my trailer unhitched from my truck. My daughter and had worked on it for a few hours. I finally asked a worker, he saw he needed help. He left and came back with an associate and they were able to get them loose. I was so thankful for their help. Sincerely Carol Canning and April Porter

Not sure why the reviews on staff are negative, they were incredibly nice to me. Unfortunately, the place is nestled between the freeway and an apartment complex. My truck was lit up with lights all night and the freeway noise was relentless. A quick overnight on a long haul is the most I could reccomend here.

This was a very nice place to stay one night. I am sure it would be a great place to stay longer if you were checking out the area. Because of the location don't expect trees on your site. The staff is very friendly and nice. Sites are good size and we got what we asked for. Also the sites are pretty level.
