Downtown Pediatrics Dr Vicki Porges

I have been taking my children here for years. They are always seen by a doctor not a nurse practitioner, and will always take us the same day when they are sick. Doctor Porges and the other Doctors in the practice, are very professional, and caring. Takes and processes our insurance. Helpful with camp and school forms. Gives great advice and referrals for serious conditions.

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Vickie M. Porges (TriBeCa pediatrician--"Downtown Pediatrics") since opening my downtown orthodontic office in TriBeCa over 11 years ago. We tend to have a good number of patients together and I am continually impressed with her diagnostic acumen, her thorough treatment planning and implementation, and her cool-headed decision making in all medical situations with her pediatric patients. With an acute knowledge of facial skeletal growth and development, Dr. Porges has had the presence of mind to make timely referrals of young patients with dentoskeletal disharmonies at the correct time in facial growth and development to help her patients avoid more invasive orthodontic therapy later in life—a true service to her patients.
