Dr. Antony Ham Pong

I was recommended to visit this allergist by my doctor. After waiting 8 months for this appointment I was very disappointed with the service. In the waiting room you could clearly tell that he was overbooked as all the seats were taken and many people has to stand in this small space. When I got into the room he did not explain anything to me even though this was my first visit. He just pricked me and sent me on my way until I came back 20 minutes later. He then told me I was allergic to cats and wrote me a prescription without any further explanation. When I started explaining my symptoms he cut me off and told me it was the "cute little kitty" and sent me on my way not telling me how allergic I was, what else he tested for or anything. Later that day I called to request the report be sent to my doctor, the man on the other end said we will send it and hung up on me before I got he chance to ask when I should expect them to send it. I would not go back nor would I recommend anyone else, which is unfortunate because I wanted for this appointment for 8 months only to be disappointed.

Absolutely delighted with this doctor. My wife had an anaphylaxic surprise allergic attack over the weekend and was hospitalized. When she was released on Saturday, we were told to see a specialist immediately. We were fortunate enough to see Dr. Ham Pong on the same day I called, and the test were taken minutes later with the follow up with the doctor within twenty minutes Cannot ask for better. An example to everyone else!

Brought my 6 month old baby there. No stroller access from P2 parking so we have to lift the stroller and climb the stairs. No diaper changing station anywhere in the building so we have to change diapers in the lobby. We waited for 2 hours for the appointment and we ended up paid for $13 for the parking. Definitely not recommend if bringing a baby to there.

We found Dr. Pong to be really knowledgable and helpful. His staff, namely Coleen, who did the allergy test was fantastic with our young daughter. The information Dr. Pong gave was current, relevant and he answer all our questions. He gave us a practice epi pen to keep at home and use for practice whenever needed. I see other reviews that have said that he does not have a great bed side manner. Although he can be to the point and is not very chatty, he is a very good allergist and is a caring and helpful doctor. We highly recommend his clinic.

Dr Ham Pong was hilarious, efficient, and precise. I actually had fun, if that's possible at an allergist's. He explained my situation thoroughly and effectively. Truly a good experience.
