My family and I have been patients of Dr. Barbara Winfield for multiple years. One may have to wait long for appointment, however, Dr. Winfield takes the time to be thorough with each of her patients. Other doctors, especially specialists make a patient wait only to be rushed out the door. (Thus leaving a patient the sense of feeling similar to being in an assembly line.) Whereby, Dr. Winfield is compassionate and will take whatever time necessary to address all concerns. Donna, (Who has been with Dr. Winfield at previous location and at this location), has the gift of proficiency in expediting and assisting Dr. Winfield for the patients' medical needs.
The new office is now set up with other doctors and new reception personnel. For long term patients, like myself, this does take time to get use to. Especially when the previous location had Dr. Winfield as the only doctor with superb staff members who felt like family.
We highly recommend this doctor being your family physician who will take the time to address one's medical concerns and needs.

Waited over two hours to been seen my first appointment. When I finally saw Dr. Winfield, it felt as if I was wasting her time. She requested blood work and apparently read it wrong. A speciality doctor requested blood work and referred me back to my primary. So I went back. She didn't ask any questions but prescribed medication. 3 months later I need more blood work. 2 months after that I'm still waiting on a phone call for results. She called in the wrong prescription for me and nobody knows why. If you want a doctor who even remotely cares about you as a patient... Go somewhere else.

I had been with Dr. Winfield most of the yrs. she has been practicing, She is wonderful, warm, and compassionate, along with her side kick Donna, When she moved with this location and a few new doctors, things took a turn for the worst, there is no way to speak with her on the phone ( she personally used to return your call ), refills take a lot longer to get, and the worst part is, she no longer accepts my insurance, that feels horrible to have to change doctors just for insurance purposes, when you have been with the same doctor forever, miss going to her as a doctor .

newly moved to this area last year and found this location. Had to change doctor this year for the Terrible service. Took 4-6 months continuously to trace the lab results but None to be heard or followed up. Then gave up calling and waited for the whole past year, still None heard but only bills shown up.

Unfortunately, since the practice has been combined with 2 other doctors the service has suffered. Although I love Dr. Winfield, the receptionists are rude, and unhelpful. I called to make an appointment today (not for today, but just to make the appointment), and was told to call tomorrow to make an appointment. Why would you not just take the time to schedule an appointment today? The policies are constantly changing, and as such when I go to do things the way I always have for the past 6 or so years I have been with Dr. Winfield I am given attitude about how things are different now like I should just know that they have changed. I will absolutely be changing practices immediately. I have tried to put up with it since they have moved, but enough is enough.
