sent to this doc through the "veterans choice" program since the VA can't figure out how to treat me. either wrong doc or misinformed gatekeeper at the office. Message from the gatekeeper in the office: patients are disposable, we don't want to see you! If this doc is signed up to help veterans, his office does not know it! Gatekeeper told me they focus on kids. Did not want to discuss with me! Told me to have the VA doc call...LMAO, can you imagine, REALLY...get a VA doc to call another provider! I don't think so. Lousy "customer" (as opposed to patient) focus! UPDATE: When VA coordinated, go in pretty quickly. Doc seemed pretty good although the glasses he prescribed did not work. No follow-up from him or his office. What a country! Not just this doc or his office, but we have terrible medical care! Expensive and poor outcomes.

Everyone is incredibly patient, kind, and professional. I did my research and know that Dr. Vicente is the best in the area. I trust him completely with out daughter’s eye care.

My daughter has a condition that requires regular ophthalmology check-ups. We love Dr Vicente. He's so detailed, great with kids and answers all your questions...even if they feel like anxious mom questions:).

My son and now daughter see Dr. Vicente and sometimes his associate, Dr. Wong. Both doctors are wonderful. They are so accessible and answers emails all the time. Dr. Vicente goes above and beyond on so many occasions to give us insurance info and even funding options. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Vicente and Dr. Wong. Totally recommend!

Our 18-month-old is a patient of Dr. Vicente. Everyone in his office is incredibly professional, gracious and organized. Dr. Vicente helped us understand our daughter's vision problem and the plan to correct it. He and his team were incredibly thorough, and kind and patient with her. We highly recommend Dr. Vicente.
