I'm rating one star just to draw attention.
My visit was good, and I am satisfied with the service in general. But I feel like I was tricked to pay extra.
I was told, during the check-in, if I want both prescription and medical exam. I asked, if they were both covered by insurance, twice. And I was told that they are both covered by insurance, and that there's nothing to worry about, and I need to pay two co-pays.
All fantastic, until I came for check out, where I was asked to pay for the contact prescriptions. When I said that I wasn't told about this, and that I was assured that the both procedures are covered by insurance, the lady at the reception told me "I said prescription, not the contact prescription. And the contact prescription is not covered by insurance". I perfectly understand, that maybe it's part of the strategy. But I felt like it was a word game. A trick.
If I was told "Prescription is covered, but not the contact prescription. But we recommend you to get the contact prescription regardless, because it only costs XXX and with the discount you have it will be YYY", I would most likely still go for it. Instead, with this attitude, you are losing a client.

The staff is great, I don't like checking in with a machine. It feels to impersonal but the overall time there is about an hour in half or less.
The doctors don't rush you through the examination. Overall I would highly recommend the office at the Van Ness location. Train stops in front of the office.

The doctors have been very helpful during my visits there. However, trying to get through to anyone in the office is extremely frustrating, and most times the phone just rings, or you have to leave a message. Tried this morning to get through to my doctor, and it took almost 30 minutes between the transfers and hold time.....and was still unsuccessful.

Alway get a second opinion, they only want your money so they would recommend you to get a precedure you don't need
