Bottom line: friendly and helpful staff, great prices, great furniture. I've gotten simple stuff like bed frames in the past, but I came in recently to get two big plush chairs for my revamping of my home decor. They have a decent amount of stuff on display in their showroom, but they have a ton more at their warehouse. While it would be neat to see everything all in one place, I appreciate being able to visit the showroom just one block from my house, as opposed to driving to Thornton or whatever to visit one of those giant places. The staff is incredibly nice, patient and helpful. They have a great personal touch -- I came in a couple weeks after I first visited, and they remembered me. I described what I was looking for, and they busted out one of their giant books of chairs and found exactly what I was looking for. They even went way above and beyond helping get the chairs delivered to my house. I have been to the giant furniture places like that Jake Jabs one, but I can tell you the quality and selection Dream Merchant offers -- selection from stuff in their warehouse, that is -- is far superior. As a final note, Dream Merchant was at the exact same location when I moved to the neighborhood 32 years ago. They have been around right there even longer -- since 1969. That kind of longevity says a lot about a business. I fully endorse this place and plan to do business with them again. The prices are just as good as online places like Wayfair, but the personal service blows the online guys out of the water.

This store is a hidden gem. It's not super conspicuous from the street, but once you go inside- there are lots of stylish, well-made AND affordable options inside. The customer service was so far beyond what I have ever experienced at bigger furniture stores. The owner, Les, was patient with us as we picked out what we wanted for our bedroom we did a lot of back and fourths thinking so it took us a while. Because we bought multiple pieces, he also gave us a really awesome deal and we were able to furnish our whole bedroom, mattress and all, without breaking the bank. We had been searching a while for the right sofa, and found it at Dream Merchant thru their ad on Craigslist. Went to the showroom and saw and tested the display model. Then we went to the warehouse and saw the sofa in the color we wanted, new and in its original box, unopened. Les was very helpful and no pressure, and gave me a great deal. The sofa was delivered and set up a few days later. Perfect size, style, and color. We love our new sofa! Thank you!

We bought our california king waterbed and futon here years ago. Moving out of state and sold both at top dollar. Not just furniture- an investment. They both held up beautifully.

As far as the furniture is concerned - I love the pieces we got from there. We got a bed, 2 couches and other things. Now as for what it took to order and receive them - if you have a chance to go anywhere else, please do. You will save yourself a lot of stress, wasted time and nerves. These people still use pieces of paper to take your order on. No communication. Feeling like you threw your money in a pit and wondering for weeks if you're ever going to get your stuff. Nerve wrecking experience.

Dream Merchant provides a level of customer service that is almost extinct in this day and age! I purchased a sofa from the two years ago that has a chaise cushion on one side. Fast forward to 2021. I recently moved into a great new condo with a smaller living room. It's been a bit of a conundrum for me because the chaise disrupts the flow no matter which side I put it on. Due to the layout there isn't another option for placing the sofa elsewhere. I had a notion that if I could just replace the chaise cushion with a regular one that would open the space & flow up more. I called and actually got to speak with Les, the owner! I told him my dilemma and he promptly responded saying he would look up the information on my sofa and contact the company that made it & see if it was possible to get a regular replacement cushion. Within less than an hour he had followed through and my order is in! I am so impressed with his response to my unique request and problem...and his prompt attention to my request. Yes, this is indeed why Dream Merchant is still in business in Denver for fifty years! I do appreciate their commitment to customers! Thanks Les and Dream Merchant!
