We've visited a few times and we enjoy it. My sons have their favorite things to do already picked out. The exhibit for surviving Jamestown was different from what I expected, but it was a lot of fun. I know my sons enjoyed it. It's big but very open and I think it's a very fascinating place. We bought a year pass and we've already got our money's worth out of it! We will definitely take our kids to see the next exhibit when it opens.

Lady at the front desk was lovely and extremely helpful. Saved me a lot of time and inconvenience with getting tickets on entry. She had a lovely French accent too. The museum was lovely to visit. Very interesting architecture. Trains were great and the kids loved it. Will definitely be back. If you like steam trains this place is well worth a visit. Great value.

Really interesting museum. Particularly enjoyed walking through one of the trains and seeing how everything fit into the cars. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Also the architecture was beautiful.
Would definitely like to visit again.

They have done a lot with this space. While we were there they had two different traveling exhibits, one was, "Fighting for the Right to Fight" a collection of stories from Black men and women and their struggles to serve in the armed forces. It is an emotionally moving exhibit. The second was, "American Adventure" can you survive 1607 Virginia settlement. It is a informative maze adventure and we had quite a bit of fun doing it.

Just moved to Omaha and have zero knowledge about the city. This museum is great place to start! Brief history from how it began to now and explains about buildings you see in downtown. Plus you can walk through an old train.
