Eagle Vision Center, Shawn Galbraith OD

I had a terrible time trying to find glasses I liked. I looked all over Rexburg. Eagle Vision has the best selection, in my opinion, of classy in-style glasses. I finally found some I liked there, but once I got them home, I realized they were slipping of my face like crazy. No matter how they were adjusted, they kept sliding everywhere. Eagle Vision allowed me to swap them out for another pair. It was great!

My experience at Eagle Vision left me feeling like my issue was not addressed and that I was simply rushed through the process. While Eagle Vision is well-equipped with a vast selection of eyewear, I felt that my interaction with Dr. Galbraith and his staff left a lot to be desired. I didn't fill out any paperwork or sign any forms whatsoever, not even any mention of HIPPA protection. I was asked once about my medical history verbally, but it made me uncomfortable that my medical history was not something that was charted and recorded physically. My examination with Dr. Galbraith was very brief and impersonal. He didn't shake my hand, and I felt like the exam was rushed. He didn't ask anything about me--all conversation during the appointment was strictly business. I did not feel like my concerns were addressed at all, and Dr. Galbraith walked out of the room quickly. Disappointed and frustrated, I proceeded to deal with a receptionist who urged me to give credit card information verbally in a very public environment, which I refused. Upon resolving payment confidentially and leaving the office, I felt like because my concerns weren't the doctor's concerns, my concerns were invalid. I quickly scheduled an appointment somewhere else for a second opinion and hopefully a resolution of my issue.

I stepped on my glasses and thought that they were broken and I had to get a new frame. I went in and the receptionist was very confident that one of their employees, Renee was her name, could fix them. My lenses was popped out and super bent and I had little confidence. 5 minutes later she had them fixed. No charge. I bought them there but that doesn't matter to them. They are super friendly and great prices and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend the place.

I've been very impressed with Dr. Galbraith and his staff. He isn't greedy and only interested in how much money he will make on your appointment. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. I've found him to be genuinely interested in helping me. I highly recommend him.

I am very pleased with the experience I have received from Eagle Vision Center! The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable, and I have always loved their services. I will keep coming back as long as I can! (:
