The owner is knowledgeable & honest. He keeps many products in stock that you aren't going to find anywhere else in the midlands. I have been going there for years & I drive from Irmo, close to lake Murray [34 miles round trip] and I will be going there again today.

I've been going to this place for years. He carries a very good heartworm product that is cheaper than the ones that the vet offers. Just make sure that your animal is heartworm free. I have also purchases the yearly shots here with the exception of the rabies shot you can only get through vet! Also, if you don't know how to give shots don't try to administer yourself. He also carries an extensive line of workers for large and small animals not just dogs and cats. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

There's always a quality selection of dog/cat food, treats and pet care products in this locally owned shop. The owner is very particular and knowledgeable of the products he carries. I highly recommend this pet store, especially if you are looking for more natural products.

I've been purchasing dog and cat supplies from Eastern States - food, meds, almost everything - for over 10 years. He might be a little more expensive, but his advice is based on decades of experience. Overall, then, I'm sure he's saved me money. It's certainly the case that he has spared both me and my animals unnecessary suffering.

Excellent old style dog & cat supplies store. Food, grooming stuff, pesticides, and innoculation serums. Higher prices than the chain pet stores, but quality merchandise.

Mr. James, is one of the nicest person that i meet serveral years ago, Mr.James, has always been the same soft spoken man and a very nice smile.
