I would give no star at all if I could, when we arrived we got our rooms and when we settled in the a.c was not even blowing cold air and was super hot, we went down to the front desk and explained what had happened so they put us in a room with working a.c, than I went the next day to get breakfast my voucher only had 1 guest when it was supposed to have 4 so me and my children could eat, the lady at the front desk forgot to put "4 guest" whenever she moved us from the hot room we were in, 😡, so the cook who was super nice which I loved went to explain to the front desk lady and escorted me to go talk to her, there was also another lady there with her who told me that I have to pay for each person who was in the room which I had did and it was the 1st lady who messed up this situation while giving us another room. They were super rude and wouldn't even help. I would never EVER recommend this place for anyone. Lesson learned I just wanted my weekend to hurry up and be over, not to mention I had to get into a "2 bedroom" instead of the 1 bedroom I was in because of a fire hazard since I had my children with me who are under the age of 4, the couch folds into a twin bed that two of my children could have easily stepped in 🤬, but on a side note I did LOVE the house keeping ladies they were super helpful and really nice.

I stay here on a steady basis off and on, I love this hotel and it’s family oriented business. I am from Louisiana but my partner is stationed out here for work so I come here every weekend. I was reviewing the new reviews this morning and came across the one from Jon Doe and could not believe my eyes. There must be another motive behind that review, first of all who uses a fake name to make a review if they want people to take the issue seriously.

I stayed here about a month ago. The room was adequate but my pet deposit seemingly got stolen. I paid for the room in full prior to checking in, and paid $230 cash upon check in for the pet fee for my 2 dogs. I was told by the front desk person that he updated everything into the computer and I foolishly didn’t request a receipt for the cash. I found out after I left that I was charged another $115 pet fee to my card because they had no record that I had paid in cash, he never made me fill out a pet form which apparently he should have. I’ve called multiple times to be told they’ll look into it and call me back and have heard no updates. Be careful if you pay anything in cash, and keep all your receipts as they have no qualms about stealing from guests.

The Econo Lodge Inn is a very clean and well maintained establishment. The rooms are huge and service is great. The staff are really professional. Also I must say the continental breakfast is fantastic with much variety. The establishment is only blocks away from shopping and activities. 5 star from me

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone they are very unprofessional the front desk office is just a lounge for the workers to not be working. The landings are horrible and so are the parking lot I was scared to walk up the stairs because I thought they were going to fall on me the Econolodge staff not all of them are rude but most of them are very rude and unprofessional they have their kids at work with them. There is traffic in and out of the hotel all night and sometimes during the day. My kids like to play at the pool And in the free areas so how could I know they are safe if there’s traffic coming in and out a hotel and people don’t even have a room. Every time I stayed at this hotel there was always cops. This hotel is ran by family Who sit in the lobby all day long and have a family gathering and all the other employees are out working. They show favoritism to their family members only if you aren’t their family members then you don’t belong at Econo Lodge. All I’m saying is if spend my money at a hotel at their rates I will like to be comfortable shouldn’t have to worry about if me or my kids are safe because of all the traffic or I will like to at least enjoy my stay. Things should change around Econolodge and if I had the chance to talk to the owners I would let them know what’s going on around there hotel while I’m staying there. This is just ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you stay in Rockport or Fulton takes says come and visit stay at another hotel.
