Great service,clean rooms,wi-fi,sattelite, home cooked meals for breakfast and dinner!!!A humble small town with excellent fishing at  the Choke Canyon State Park .While you are here Check out the waterfall at Tips Park.

Rooms weren't bad, some of the TV's didn't work. Quite a few scorpions and rattlesnakes outside.

Shale is great. Rooms are super clean, good showers, and comfy beds. Outdoor water, ice, vending, and outdoor power for boat charging make it the perfect fisherman's stay for the weekend at $60 for a double room.

Very nice, simple but clean rooms and nice bathrooms, great beds, and a great price, I highly  recommend! !

Great place to stay!!  The establishment's personnel were friendly and accommodating.  The rooms were clean and spacious, very modern.   I stayed three weeks, the meals were great, too.
I recommend the Shale Lodge in Three Rivers and will stay there if ever in the area again.
