Einstein Bros. Bagels

Went in at 2:55 2 days ago,I was served a bagel, then the owner got a cup and gave me a decaf latte. Tasted like mud, and I said: "I didn't order this. She said, we are closing. I said"What does that have to do with giving a customer a decaf coffee.?She said How about a soft drink, we are closing. Go to Brooklyn bagels down the street, the bagels are bigger, and made from scratch. Brooklyns bagel has great customer service. Einsteins bagels are frozen, shipped in and smaller. Terrible customer service at Einstein bagels

Bagels are great, but go elsewhere for any steamed milk based coffee. The girls can't work the machine. They'll over steam and give you a watered down mess and not care about it.

If you're from the NYC metro area, the bagels here are just okay... My Everything bagel was light & airy, which is probably better for me - less calories - but certainly not as tasty or enjoyable. I had a egg, cheese, and sausage sandwich on another occasion, and it too was just okay. The flavors were bland. I later found out that the sausage that they use is turkey sausage. When I want to eat badly and reach for carbs, calories, and fat, I certainly don't want to waste those calories. This place is good enough... just not top of mind for me.
