My favorite place to eat in Ames, hands down!! Fantastic and authentic food, wonderful service and delicious margaritas!! 👌😊 I've celebrated my birthday here 3 or 4 times, and they have great accommodations for large parties!

Never ever ever had a bad meal here. Food comes out quick. Prices are great. No issues ever.

Overall this is a fine restaurant. Food is served quickly, and the wait staff is very good. There are several TV screens around to watch sports. Prices are fair, too, and the restaurant itself is clean. It's not perfect. The wait to be seated can be long and crowded, and Azteca doesn't take reservations. Noise can be a problem for those looking for a quiet spot. A few of the dishes are barely of average quality. Overall, we really like the place. We avoid the heaviest eating times, have a few super choices of food and never have to worry about poor service. It's a solid 4 stars.
