Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant

Been here many times and the service and food was always top notch however last night both were horrible. Waiter was terrible and clearly overwhelmed with no support from management. Took forever to take our order and it was only after we asked for someone. Tables seated after us with different wait staff were done eating before we even got our food and one entree wasn't what we ordered. We never saw our guy again after he finally brought our food and we had to ask a different person for boxes and our check. We spoke to both a hostess and a manger and got excuses but that's it. Not the slightest attempt at making things right. She just kept saying he was new and we know enough to come back. We used to drive 45 minutes specifically to eat there but never will again. Certainly were not trying to get free meals but a couple of free pops would have gone a lot further than lame excuses.

Great food, lots of options. Only thing I noticed is that our waitress was too worried about getting out at a certain time and would rush us. We maybe got one or two table visits from her within the first 10 mins of getting there, then we had to leave her down to get refills and other things.

Fabulous food, economical prices and personality rich staff! No matter how busy, service is always amazing & staff is always courteous! I had low blood sugar today so I asked for a couple cherries while waiting for food. Danielle (waitress) brought me a mini dish full and Kayla (manager) stopped to see if I was feeling better. They truly cared, checked up on me and didn't charge for the cherries! Kayla is an excellent manager and takes the time to greet every customer! WOW!! Danielle always give us great service, shares her friendly smile and makes every meal wonderful. Kayla, the manager, always walks around the restaurant talking with all the customers, making sure everything is running efficiently and helps her staff to keep business rolling! These two ladies make us feel welcome every time! Thank you!

Well, first of all we get in the door and are not greeted, first impression of customer service not off to a good start. Then we sit down and have been waiting to order as our "waiter" who was on his phone in the front when we entered passed us three times not asking us if we we're ready. Then didn't seem to check in on us not once did my husband's drink get refilled. This is our fifth time at this restaurant and every other time the customer service has been great. We left very dissatisfied and disappointed from this one.

Food is good, people are friendly, butt we had quite a few problems with our order. Hard shell instead of soft shell, when we got the soft shell chicken taco, my 9 year old found a bone in his chicken. We gave it to the waiter and never heard another word about it. I will go again, maybe when they aren't too busy. We had around a 30 minute wait to be seated.
