Elephant Head Lodge

We went here for our honeymoon in 2016 and 80% of the staff seemed burdened to assist us in any way. Additionally, the food sold here was very expensive and burnt on a couple occasions. However the receptionist was very helpful, the nightly prices were reasonable, and the cabin was cute.

We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights, it was nice and cozy. There was 70 of us there for a family reunion and it was wonderful. The food at the lodge wasn't particularly great but the staff was kind and made us feel at home. Very accommodating for our large group and it is close to Cody and Yellowstone which gives tons of options for what to do and where to go.

The cabin was wonderful! Location was a bit more driving than we realized when booking. Would probably stay again, although not for the entire trip.

A very cozy place to stay if visiting Yellowstone! Very good breakfast choices and an option for sack lunches as well

While visiting Yellowstone we came across this gem in the wilderness and stopped in to have dinner one evening. What a find, just a little out of the way lodge with a fabulous restaurant and great service. The menu is small but it is more than adequate for every pallet. The food was fresh and served with home made bread. The meals were both well prepared and cooked to perfection. The filet was as good as any I have ever had anywhere. The main dinning room is an old log cabin that is very quaint and warm. The entire experience was a delight. I can only imagine that the lodging is equal to the dinning experience but we had already booked lodging elsewhere and could not use that service. If you are in the area make the effort to try this little gem you will not be disappointed?
