Moose Creek Lodge & Suites

My 2nd visit...just as good as my first. I'm a Diamond member at Best Western and will stay here every time while in Cody. Robyn at the front desk is awesome: she grew up near Cody so she has a lot of good recommendations, good personality, and treated me like a friend. I recall the conversation we had when I travelled thru last year and we picked up right where we left off last time! A hotel that keeps their employees...it makes a difference...so nice to see a familiar face after several days on The road. The hotel itself is newer, is right in downtown, within easy walking to great restaurants, shopping, and historic Buffalo Bill Hotel. The place is undervalued and frankly a bargain. Thank you and look forward to next time.

Friends had a room reserved for the horse sale. We stopped in to get a room, there were three of us. My buddies, brothers, went in to inquire about said room and came out with details. I went back in with one of them, and after telling the previous pair they had a room available, they told me they would NOT rent me the room. I’m not white. They said they didn’t want “cowboys causing trouble”. On our way out, they were overly welcoming to a group of four “cowboys” roughly the same age as us, being loud, and from out of state, but they were all white. I’m not saying they didn’t let us stay because of my skin color, but y’all can read the story for yourself. They won’t get my business ever again.

As a guest staying across the courtyard from Benjamin, I can agree with management for asking you and your friends to leave. You were being very loud and I heard the whole thing. It had nothing to do with your color, it was because your were being loud, period. I'm sure they are trying to provide a decent place for their guests to stay and having loud guests ruins the stay for everyone else.

Very clean and comfortable. Perfectly located in the middle of historic Cody, walking distance to nice bars, restaurants, and shopping. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, they gave us plenty of ideas on what to do and see during our visit. I will absolutely stay here again next time I'm in town, and recommend it to any other travelers spending time in Cody.
